Duncan & McCann impress in Dromore RR 2017

The 9th edition of the annual Dromore Road Race took place on Saturday 24th June with a fantastic turnout with just under 500 entries. The event holds a competitive 10K, 5K fun run and a 5K Walk taking in the picturesque Riverside Walk. With a DJ, bouncy castle and refreshments, the popular roiad race provided a fantastic atmosphere with many families coming out to support.

2017 Dromore 10K & 5K Road Race Launched

The annual Dromore Road Race is now a firm fixture in the June road racing calendar and the ninth edition takes place on Saturday 24th June (12 noon) with a 10K, 5K and 5K walk all on offer.

The event has retained its long running sponsor, McDermott’s Pharmacy, Main Street Dromore and the committee are urging all local runners to get their online entries in before the closing date of June 16th. Duncan & Oldroyd win Dromore 10K

On Saturday 27th June 2015, hundreds of athletes and spectators descended on the County Tyrone village of Dromore, for the annual Dromore 10k road race. This is the seventh event and is sponsored by McDermott's Pharmacy in the Main Street. Around 350 people took part in the 10K, 5K and 5K Walk with a start and finish in the centre of the town.

The 2014 Dromore 10K and 5K Road Race will take place on Saturday 28th June and after taking on some feedback, we have a new and improved route!

10K Road Race
The 10K route will cover the same first 5K but in reverse.

McDermott's Pharmacy on board again as Title Sponsor for 2013

We are delighted that McDermott's Pharmacy have come on board again as title sponsors of the 2013 Dromore Community Road Race which will be held on Saturday 22nd June.

Bernard Maguire is the Community pharmacist and has been involved with sponsoring the race for the last three years. The business based in Church Street has been there since 2007 and on top of dispensing of medicines they offer a medicines management service, repeat dispensing and free prescription collection and delivery.
